Kyle & Heather

At last, this beautiful Spring wedding has been posted for all to see! If I had a backyard like Heather's, I would absolutely do a reception in it. It was the perfect venue for this beautiful day.

*For those that know Ryan Newbold, don't you think Kyle (groom) looks like him?

Happy Ever After, Heather & Kyle!

i must say that i had to exercise quite a bit of restraint to not comment on some of your pictures when they were first posted...it saddens me that no one else has yet. but, at the same time...that let's me be the first and i'm happy about that.

without further adieu:

i've looked at some of the pictures that some of my other friends have taken at weddings and they don't really hold a candle to the ones that you take. i agree with heather...it's a disservice to all of the people out there that would have you as their photographer and cannot as you focus your attention on your other pursuits. You really are talented! Couple that with your photo editing capabilities and you have the 'picture-perfect' wedding and the perfect wedding pictures to prove it.

they say, 'timing is everything'...when it comes to photography, that is absolutely true, and your timing is impeccable. you always seem to take a picture at just the right time. the way that you can capture the way they look into each others eyes is great. it's almost as though you can understand the emotions that they are feeling.

it comes as no surprise that there is a picture of the bride and groom jumping...it almost says more about about the photographer than the couple. :)

i know that i've already said a few things about some of the pictures but i'll go ahead and say more about them.

who knew that you could take pictures of plastic tables and chairs and make them look so good. i like how you added the picture of the lantern...its symbolism is obvious.

i love the pictures of the chess pieces. i think you mentioned that chess is a pass-time that they both share and i think it's great how they incorporated it into their wedding. what i like even more than that is how you used the wedding rings with the king and queen. the contrast between the rings an their respective chess piece is great.

i'm not sure if i'm supposed to like symmetry in photography, but i do. i especially like it in the pictures of the bride with her bridesmaids and the groom with his groomsmen. i even like how the pictures are complimentary to each other.

the pictures of them with their parents are also great...

i love that you make sure to capture every aspect of the wedding. people get so caught up in the people (which is important) but you also capture things like the food and decorations and i think 50 years from now they'll want those pictures just as much as some of the others. they will help bring back a lot of memories too and help them remember the ambiance of that special day.

i'm not sure if the side pictures that you added were going to be printed that way but i like what you did. i like how they tie into each other...the cake with them cutting it, the girl drinking the smoothie and the boy pouring it, etc.

kids and candids are by far some of the best pictures from weddings and you capture them both well...no secret there.

i like the picture that you got of them cutting the cake. so many photographers take pictures that show only the bride, the groom, and the cake. i'm sure you got some of those too but i like that you also took one with the people looking on. it adds to the picture and the occasion. the cake itself looks beautiful too...

one of my favorites is the picture of the bride and groom swinging at the lip-shaped pinata...'together we can do anything...' even if it looks like they didn't successfully break the pinata.

i love the one at the top of them kissing. i'm not sure if those are the real clouds in the background or if they were mysteriously added afterward but i like the lines they create and how they pull your focus to the center of the picture. so whether or not it was intentional it turned out great. it also gives the impression of looking down train tracks as they disappear beyond the horizon...never-ending...like their love and their marriage.

amazing job on the pictures. i'm surprised that no one else has said anything. but, i'm sure they were more than happy with the pictures.
